Glauca G1, evolution of the Glauca model, features characteristics that were specifically designed for the renowned GSG9, special unit of the Bundespolizei, which has officially adopted it. The handle is made of anodized anticorodal aluminum in tactical mud colour. It is equipped with a tungsten carbide glass-breaker on the pommel and a clip that can be set in three different positions (one of which is frontal). On the back there is a stainless-steel marlin spike, which can be locked when open, and a foldable rescue tool which allows the operator to make a quick emergency cut to free any injured from their clothing. This second tool is also excellent as a belt cutter.
The blade locking system is the time-tested LINER-LOCK supported by a manually operated second safety mechanism. The drop point blade is made of Böhler N690 steel hardened to 58 HRC with the classic Extrema Ratio MIL-C-13924 black finish.
