The name ‘Mato Grosso’ comes from the Portuguese and means “dense bush”, recalling the homonymous South American region. This machete is specifically designed to cut through the dense vegetation of tropical forests thanks to its long, narrow blade. It can be used to cut tall, thick grass, to prune vegetation and branches, and to cut through the roughest woods.
Its Forprene handle makes it easy to use. The drop style blade is made of Böhler N690 steel (58 HRC) for a better balance between edge resistance and robustness, it is 309 mm long, 4 mm thick and features a flat grind. Mato Grosso comes with a black Cordura sheath equipped with M.O.L.L.E. system webbings that allow to carry it on tactical vests and belts.
Mato Grosso is available in BLACK (burnished blade) and SATIN (satin blade).
